Located just a few blocks from dog-friendly Mary Bartelme Park in the West Loop, Pooch Hotel provides first-rate dog daycare for busy Chicago weekends or work-filled weekdays. We have multiple, spacious areas for your dog to romp and play. Our experienced staff separate dogs by size and personality to ensure everyone has a great time. Active dogs, who love to play and do well in a group setting, will enjoy All Day Play while running and jumping with our other guests. We also offer DayStay for dogs who enjoy group play but also like time to themselves and One on One for dogs who prefer (or require) individual time with a team member.

All suites are custom-built and very private, featuring natural light and spacious, tempered glass—no bars or metal cages!
All boarding reservations include two hour-long playgroup sessions and an evening stroll (potty break) before bed, or One on One play.
All Day Play is available to add to your boarding reservation. For guests staying in our Palace and Top Dog suites, All Day Play is included at no extra cost. (Must be eligible for playgroup.)

Our largest and most luxurious room features a plush, human-sized bed, a flat screen TV, and webcam in suite. It’s no wonder Pooch Hotel grooming salons and dog training schools got their start in Chicago. After all, Chicagoans were the first to coin the word “pooch.” And since we’ve been around for so long, we’ve got the experience and expertise necessary to take care of all your pet’s individual needs.

You know your dog is the best on the block, but sometimes they need a little help with their manners. We understand. That’s one of the reasons we started our Positive Dog Training program. Through the use of science-based training principals, we can help your puppy learn the basics or provide refresher lessons for your adult dog. We offer a variety of classes from group sessions to one-on-one classes. You can even leave your dog with us as part of our ‘Stay & Train’ program (check for availability), where we work with your dog while they are boarding or hanging out with us in daycare. When your course is complete, we then work with you to show you how to keep the lessons fresh when you and your dog head home.
We can help you if you have a puppy or even an adult dog that needs a little refresher course. We have programs designed to work for dogs no matter what life stage they are in. Just give us a call and we’ll help match you to the perfect dog training program for you and your best friend.
